VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — The Vinton County Sheriff served a narcotics search warrant at a residence in Ray on Wednesday.
According to Sheriff Ryan C. Cain, five people were taken into custody.
Cain said seven people were initially detained during the raid. Children’s Services was notified of three young children living within the home in, what reports say, was a hazardous environment.
Arrested at the scene were: Betty Warrix, 56 of Ray. Betty was charged with multiple counts of drug trafficking and drug possession. Glenn Warrix, 45, of Ray was also charged with multiple counts of conspiracy to drug trafficking. Morter Warrix, 43, of Ray, was charged with attempted trafficking in drugs. Tom Warrix, 40, of Ray, was charged with multiple counts of child endangerment. Christian Dilsaver, 35, or Ray, was also charged with multiple counts of child endangering. All suspects were taken to jail awaiting a bond hearing, according to the Sheriff.
Cain said this raid was the culmination of a lengthy criminal investigation.
