COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nominations for the Ohio Fire Service Hall of Fame and Fire Awards, will be accepted until Friday, Nov. 5. The Division of State Fire Marshal and the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Division of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will partner once again to honor the men and women who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to serve their communities.
The Ohio Fire Service Hall of Fame and Fire Awards provide an opportunity for firefighters and organizations to participate in honoring the sacrifices made every day by their colleagues. Also, as part of the ceremony, the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty will be recognized and honored. The upcoming Hall of Fame and Fire Awards is slated to be bigger and better than ever. The new venue is elegant, more spacious, and unique. Additionally, each recipient will receive an award with a new and exciting design. The ceremony is currently planned for late March 2022, with more details coming soon!
