ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Ross County residence suffered severe damage following a fire Monday afternoon.
It happened on Sulphur Lick Road in Union Township at around 12:30 p.m.
Initial reports said, a garage belonging to the residents first went up in flames and then ignited the adjacent home. Witnesses say the garage was full of equipment at the time.
Fire crews from multiple townships responded to assist. Sulphur Lick was closed while crews worked to clear the scene.
The garage, reports say, was a total loss, and the home was severely damaged.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
Officials say it remains under investigation.
