PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — This week, the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office has been involved in a ongoing marijuana eradication operation.
According to reports, the sheriff’s office worked in conjunction with the drug task force to target particular area’s within the county.
An aviation unit from the Ohio Department of Transportation provided arieal support.
“From time to time we fly missions with our partners in law enforcement. This is one of those times,” said ODOT spokesman Matt Bruning.
Officials have not released whether or not the operation was a success or if any arrests have been made, though officials said “a few” plants have been found.
