PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A Williamsport woman who led troopers on a drunken high-speed chase back in April has been sentenced to prison.
The Pickaway County Prosecutor’s Office told the Guardian that Christina Thornton, of Williamsport, will spend the next 18 months behind bars.
In April, troopers received a call regarding a possible drunk driver. Troopers located the suspected vehicle and attempted to stop Thornton along Route 62. That is when she fled from troopers, reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour at times.
Thornton would go on to hit multiple parked vehicles before being stopped by troopers and deputies with the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office.
