Re Etta Marie “Babe” (Dimmick) Roe

Re Etta Marie “Babe” (Dimmick) Roe, age 92, of Washington C.H., Ohio, formerly of Leesburg, Ohio and Estero, FL, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus. 

She was born on February 7, 1930, in Morris, Grundy County, Illinois, the daughter of Viola Margaret (Olson) and Robert Carl Dimmick. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Lynn (Don) Knapp of Estero, FL; five grandchildren, Scott (Robyn) Flowers, Jason (Amanda) Flowers, Todd (Debbie) Flowers, Jacob Roe, Joshua Roe; eight great grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; one sister, Donna Watts; one brother, Danny (Lesley) Dimmick; and brother in-law, Ernie Peterson.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Francis “Curly” Roe on December 11, 2001; two sons, William Dwight “Bill” Roe, Kenneth Francis Roe; three brothers, Robert Dimmick, James Lyons, Ronald Dimmick; two sisters, Judy Peterson, Sharon Peterson; and both parents. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 1 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jim Roe officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. 

Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Thursday, at the funeral home.
