Agents with the Southeast Major Crimes Task Force conducted a raid at 128 North Plains Road in Athens County on Thursday for alleged drug trafficking activity at the residence.

Agents, reports say, located numerous individuals inside the home with active arrest warrants. Those persons were secured by Task Force agents and turned over to deputies with the Athens County Sheriff’s Office.

During the search, suspected fentanyl, money and numerous items, the sheriff’s office said, associated with drug trafficking and abuse were seized.

Athens County Sheriff Rodney Smith said, “This particular residence has been the focus of numerous drug investigations. Four subjects were arrested, and additional charges are pending. While on scene, multiple citizens walking and driving by thanked deputies for addressing the drug issue in their community.”

Arrested at the scene were the following:

Christina L. Blackstone, 33, of Perry Ridge Road, Nelsonville on a failure to appear warrant for Trafficking in Drugs (F3), Possession of Drugs (F5), and Permitting Drug Abuse (F5).

Tessa A. Delancy, 30 of 128 North Plains Road, The Plains, on a failure to appear warrant for Theft (F4), and Forgery (F5).

Thomas M. Reasoner, 42, of 128 North Plains Road, The Plains, on a failure to appear warrant for Tampering with Evidence (F3), Forgery (F5), and Possession of Drugs (F5).

Brian K. Wheaton JR, 34, Fort Street, Nelsonville, on an indictment warrant for Possession of Drugs (F5).
