OHIO — The Ohio Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing will take to the skies this week.
According to the military, fighter jets will be participating in both daytime and night flyovers.
The exercises, officials say, will begin today and last through December 15, weather permitting.
Residents in Ross and Highland Counties may see or hear F-16 fighter jets, including the use of flares, taking off and landing until about 8:00 p.m.
The purpose of the exercise, a spokesperson said, is to evaluate the response and coordination procedures.
