CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe resident is celebrating after winning big in the Ohio Lottery. Abigail Hughes purchased a scratch-off ticket for the Billion game at the Quick Stop on North Bridge Street and won $50,000.
After mandatory state and federal taxes, Hughes will receive a total of $36,000.
Billion is a scratch-off with a top prize of $1,000,000 a year for 20 years. As of March 20, 2023, there are four top prizes remaining in the game.
