VINTON COUNTY, Ohio — The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office has released its daily activity report for March 22, 2023. The report outlines the various calls and incidents that occurred throughout the day.
In the early morning hours, deputies patrolled State Route 327 after receiving a complaint regarding a suspicious person. Later, at 7:40 a.m., they conducted a routine traffic stop on West Junction Road.
Throughout the day, deputies conducted several other traffic stops on State Route 93, U.S. Highway 50, Eagle Mills Road, North Market Street in McArthur, State Route 328, East Main Street in McArthur, and Old Route 50. They also patrolled U.S. Highway 50 after receiving a complaint of a suspicious vehicle.
At 6:44 p.m., deputies checked an open door on Eagle Mills Road, and at 10:22 p.m., they conducted a traffic stop on Airport Road. At 10:48 p.m., they responded to Hagerty Road in reference to an overdose.
The final entry on the report was a report of a vehicle accident involving a deer on U.S. Route 50 at 11:55 p.m.
