BROWN COUNTY, Ohio — Emergency crews responded to a train derailment on Corboy Road in Washington Township Monday afternoon. All parties involved, officials said, were reported to be unharmed.

According to authorities, the train was carrying approximately 390 tons of gravel at the time of the derailment. Corboy Road is expected to be closed for the remainder of today and possibly tomorrow as crews work to clear the scene.

The unstable cars and possibility of falling have made the area unsafe and local residents are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
