CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Pool, one of the city’s most beloved summer destinations, is all set to welcome its residents and guests alike as the City Pool officially opens its gates tomorrow, May 27th. The grand opening is scheduled for high noon, and local families are buzzing with anticipation.
At a cost of just $5.00 per daily pass, locals and visitors can make a splash and cool off in the summer heat from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. In response to community requests, the pool will also open its doors on Sundays, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, giving everyone a chance to relax and unwind before the start of a new week.
In an effort to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, the city is actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated lifeguards and other pool employees. Interested parties can find applications available on the city’s website.
The littlest water babies of the community, children aged two and under, are invited to enjoy the pool completely free of charge. This makes the City Pool an even more appealing destination for families seeking budget-friendly recreational options. The pool administration has also announced that there will be no individual or family pool passes offered this year. Instead, all daily admissions will be paid on a per visit basis.
Want to host an unforgettable summer bash? For those looking to make a bigger splash this summer, private pool parties can be booked for $500. The rate covers a two-and-a-half-hour soiree from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
This summer, Chillicothe City Pool promises a wave of fun, relaxation, and community spirit. So grab your swimsuits, slather on the sunscreen, and get ready to dive into a summer of fun at the City Pool.
