JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — Adam B. Cheatham, a 44-year-old resident of Fairmount St., Jackson, is facing a series of serious charges following a joint investigation led by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation, conducted in collaboration with the Jackson Police and the Jackson County Children Services, revealed disturbing allegations against Cheatham involving the provision of alcohol and narcotics to juveniles, followed by inappropriate sexual acts.
According to investigators, two male juveniles disclosed that Cheatham had supplied them with LSD, psychedelic mushrooms, and alcohol. They further stated that Cheatham had engaged in inappropriate touching while they were intoxicated. Additionally, a female juvenile came forward with claims that Cheatham had provided alcohol to minors and made sexually suggestive comments, including those directed at her. Another juvenile reported multiple instances of inappropriate touching by Cheatham.
On June 16, a Jackson County Grand Jury returned 11 indictments against Cheatham, including five counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, four counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, and two counts of Corrupting another with drugs.
Currently, Cheatham is being held in the Jackson County Correctional Facility pending his arraignment, as he faces the serious charges brought against him. .
