ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A blaze on Jester Hill Road in Bainbridge sent at least one individual to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m., emergency crews responded to reports of heavy smoke emanating from the roof of a house trailer. A woman at the residence suffered burns to her hands, necessitating medical attention. She was flown to a Columbus hospital, where she is now reported to be in stable condition.
Firefighters, witnessing the intensity of the fire, called for mutual aid to quash the flames that threatened the Bainbridge community. The united front managed to subdue the fire, preventing further injuries or structural damage to neighboring homes.
