PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio (AP) — A routine traffic stop for speeding turned into a significant drug bust on US 23 near Little Walnut Road southbound, a spokesman for the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office said.
On Tuesday, authorities pulled over a 2010 Black Honda Accord. The driver, identified as Ira C. Six from Stoutsville, was subjected to a narcotics inspection when an MCU Police K9 signaled the presence of drugs.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered a burnt smoking pipe, a scale, clear plastic baggies, and over 31 grams of what’s believed to be methamphetamine.
Six was taken to the Pickaway County Jail, facing charges of Trafficking in Drugs and Possession of Drugs, both second-degree felonies.
