SOUTHERN OHIO — Multiple races were decided Tuesday night, mostly in the Republican Primary across southern Ohio.
In Ross County, County Commissioner James Lowe won reelection, defeating challenger Jason Link. For a second seat also open on the commission, newcomer David Glass won, beating out Ken Shelton. Jordan Wheeler won his race for Clerk of Courts.
In Pickaway County, Sheriff Matthew Hafey won his primary for reelection, barely edging off Dale Thomas.
In Fayette County, Donald Fleak, the mayor of Bloomingburg won a bid for county commissioner. He defeated challenger Rick Meade.
In Hocking County, Jennifer Graham overwhelming won as prosecutor against three other candidates.
In Ohio’s 2nd Congressional race, David Taylor secured the nomination against 10 others.
