WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — The YUSA Corporation in Fayette County has been awarded $1,087,874 from the Ohio Department of Development through the Advanced Energy Fund, State Representative Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) announced Tuesday.
The funding will support energy efficiency improvements at YUSA’s facility, including repairs to compressed air leaks, replacement of HVAC units, and upgrades to air conditioning systems. The project is projected to reduce annual utility costs by 15.5 percent.
“I am excited for YUSA Corporation and the improvements they will now make to their business,” Peterson said in a statement. “These energy savings will allow them to continue to be an industry leader and grow in Fayette County.”
The Advanced Energy Fund aims to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy projects across Ohio, supporting businesses in reducing costs and enhancing sustainability.
YUSA Corporation, a key employer in the region, is expected to leverage the upgrades to strengthen its operations and maintain its competitive edge in the industry.
