CINCINNATI, Ohio — Rumpke Waste & Recycling has been named a Platinum 2026 US Best Managed Company by a program sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, marking the seventh time the Cincinnati-based waste hauler has received the designation.

The program recognizes privately held U.S. companies based on four criteria: strategic planning, ability to execute, corporate culture and financial governance. This year’s honorees were also evaluated on investments in digital transformation including artificial intelligence.

Bill Rumpke Jr., president and CEO of Rumpke, attributed the recognition to the company’s workforce. “This achievement belongs to everyone working at Rumpke,” he said.

Rumpke is one of the largest privately held waste and recycling companies in the country and operates across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia, serving residential and commercial customers across the region.
