CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Pickaway Township Fire Department has moved Saturday’s Movie Night indoors to its hall and moved up the start time to 8:30 p.m., the department said in a Facebook post.

A fire truck and a Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office cruiser will still be on hand starting at 7:30 p.m. for children to explore before the movie, the department said. The screening, originally planned to begin at 9 p.m., now starts at 8:30 p.m.
The free event was set to feature a showing of Disney’s “Cars” along with a bounce house and an Air Evac Lifeteam medical helicopter fly-in, the fire department said in earlier posts. Air Evac Lifeteam operates an air medical base in Chillicothe that serves Pickaway, Ross, Vinton, Fayette and Pike counties, flying trauma patients to hospitals.
Movie Night is being held at AMVETS Post 2256, 818 Tarlton Road in Circleville. The post, which also includes a Ladies Auxiliary, Sons of AMVETS and Junior AMVETS program, regularly opens its grounds to the community for events such as its annual Veterans Day appreciation gathering.
