JEFFERSONVILLE, Ohio — The Village of Jeffersonville canceled its free community pool party scheduled for Tuesday because of forecast severe thunderstorms, according to a village notice.

Village officials said the event was called off for the safety of patrons and will not be rescheduled.

The cancellation closes out this year’s pool season. The village thanked residents for their support throughout the summer and said it looks forward to hosting the pool party again next year.

The information contained in this story was obtained from the Village of Jeffersonville.
