
Anita F. “Momma Nita” Fields, 67 of Circleville, OH passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born in Ashland, KY to the late Billy Jack and Genetta R. (Bailey) Middleton. She married Alan Fields in 1981. She worked alongside him for many years, helping him with their dry wall business. She also loved taking care of her babies, her farm and her dog Tig.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan L. Fields; Bo Dylan Sturgell, Little Jack and special friend, Tom Fout.
She leaves behind her children, Rusty Fields and Cheryl Fields; siblings, Jack (Peggy) Middleton, Sharon (Craig) Dyer, Leona Walker, and James (Laura) Middleton; grandchildren, Festus, Haiden, Kaiden, Bennett, Rowen, and Mia; great-grandson, Matteo; several close friends, Robin and Dean Davis, Jimmy Miller, Tim Logan and Cindy Fout; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and ALL of Momma Nita’s babies.
Visitation will be held from on Friday, September 18 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, Ashville, OH followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday, September 19 at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Jim Ferrell offering words of comfort. Interment will take place at Harrison Twp. Cemetery in South Bloomfield, OH. Condolences can be offered to the family online at olivercheekfuneralhome.com.
