
Charles Algon Culp, 64, of Wheelersburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born August 11, 1962, in Scioto County, a son of the late Charles N. and Margaret (Beckett) Culp. Charles was a 1980 graduate of Minford and Scioto County Joint Vocational School. He went on to build his working life as a welder, and was employed at M&J Welding, SFI and retired from F.L. Smith. His dedication to his trade reflected a life of steady work and commitment.
Above all, Charles will be remembered by those who knew and loved him as a devoted family man. He is survived by the love of his life, Trena (Rowley) Culp; a son, Matthew (Kayla) Culp; a daughter, Molly (Josh) Meeker; a step-son, Shane; a step-daughter, Sonya; his sister, Debbie (Larry) Keeton; two nephews, Joe (Bekka) Keeton, Randy (Jessica) Keeton, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charles had many special people in his life that are too many to name but were all loved.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Little Roger.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Roy Bennett officiating. Burial will be at White Gravel Cemetery in Minford. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
