CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Logan Elm Local Schools Superintendent Tim Williams has received the 2026 Buckeye Association of School Administrators Exemplary Leadership Award for the organization’s District 5, an honor recognizing outstanding leadership among Ohio school administrators.
Williams received the award Oct. 6 at BASA’s annual fall conference in Columbus, joining nine other school leaders from across Ohio who were each recognized by their respective BASA regions, according to the district.

The award is presented to one leader in each BASA region who has demonstrated outstanding educational leadership and made significant contributions to educational administration in a school district, educational service center or educational institution, the district said.
Williams is in his 15th year as Logan Elm’s superintendent. He previously served the district as a principal, teacher and coach, according to the district. The recognition comes two months after Logan Elm High School earned a repeat spot on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the nation’s best high schools.
“It is truly an honor and humbling to receive an award voted on by my peers, individuals who understand the responsibilities and demands of serving as a superintendent,” Williams said in a statement. “This recognition is a reflection of the incredible people who make Logan Elm such a special place. I am especially thankful for our students, whose curiosity, creativity, and talents inspire me every day. I am equally grateful for our dedicated staff and administration, who work to support our students and provide them with opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. I also want to recognize and thank our Board of Education for their leadership and support, and our families and community for the tremendous pride they have in Logan Elm.”
“The partnership between our schools and our community is what makes this such a special place to work and an even better place to live,” Williams said. “I am truly blessed to be part of the Logan Elm family. This recognition belongs to all of us and serves as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together. I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to serve this district and community.”
