UPDATE 1:35 AM: Portsmouth Police was responding to the scene with their K-9 unit to assist. Police do not have a description of the person they are searching for, however, they do have the car from the case.

ORIGINAL STORY: Multiple police agencies, including Chillicothe Police, Ross County Sheriff, and Ohio Highway Patrol are engaged in a manhunt just south of the city limits.
A man led Chillicothe Police on a chase with someone else and ended up going south of the city and onto Lunbeck Road. Officers saw the man jump out of the car and take off running into the woods.
Deputies and troopers who were racing to the area to join in the pursuit ended up assisting Chillicothe Police in the manhunt near 1122 Lunbeck.
A K-9 was brought to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. to help search for the wanted man.
No names have been released by police.
