Obituary
Diana L. (Jacobs) Markel, 61, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 following an extended illness.
She was born March 18, 1960, in Chillicothe, to the late Golden and Eleanor O’Dell Jacobs.
Surviving are a daughter, Nichole (Matt) Estep, of Sandusky; brothers, Glenn Jacobs, of Las Vegas, NV and David (Robyn) Jacobs, of Litchfield Park, AZ; nephews, Cliff (Hannah) Jacobs, of Arizona, Stephen Jacobs, of Nevada and Jason Jacobs, of Chillicothe; and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Gary Jacobs and John Jacobs.
Diana retired from Chillicothe Correctional Institution as a Training Officer. She was a very loving, caring person who will be deeply missed by everyone.
Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
