MARION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A stretch of U.S. Route 22 East was temporarily closed Wednesday morning after a commercial vehicle crash near the highway’s “S” curves, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office said.
The crash resulted in a minor injury, according to the sheriff’s office. No further details on the driver or the extent of the damage were immediately released.
The sheriff’s office asked motorists to avoid the area while crews worked the scene. U.S. 22 East is a primary route through Marion Township, connecting rural Fayette County traffic to Washington Court House and surrounding communities.
