JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — A fatal accident closed route 35 at Caves Road in Jackson County Thursday morning. According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, an accident involving three semis occurred around 9:30 a.m.
According to EMS on scene, one person was taken by medical helicopter in serious condition and at least one other was killed.
The patrol said the highway could be shutdown until Thursday afternoon.
The names of those involved were not immediately released.
