ROSS COUNTY, Ohio– A Chillicothe man is in jail after deputies say he assaulted his live-in girlfriend and threatened to kill her with a gun.
The incident happened early Sunday morning at a house on Massieville Road.
According to reports, the couple was arguing when the victim said she was punched in the face by her boyfriend.
Reports say the man then grabbed a gun and chased the woman from the home. According to the victim, she hid in her car and called 9-1-1. It was at that time, the victim said, her boyfriend came outside, and busted out the windows of her car in an attempt to reach her.
Deputies arrived on the scene and located both parties. Following a brief investigation, the man was arrested, and transported to the Ross County Jail on several domestic violence-related charges.
