CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A body was found near a motel dumpster in Chillicothe on Monday.
It happened at around noon at America’s Best Value Inn, 1135 East Main Street.
The police department received a call that a body was laying near the dumpsters of the motel. When medics and officers arrived they found the person deceased.
Officers sectioned off the area with their patrol cars while they awaited a detective and the county coroner.
The name of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding their death or the body were not immediately released. A message was left by the Guardian with the police department seeking more information.
