ROSS COUNTY, Ohio— A Ross County man will spend the next two decades in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
Jessie McFarland, 29, of Chillicothe pled guilty to all 35 counts against him on January 24.
McFarland, according to court records obtained by the Guardian, was indicted in May of last year.
According to the indictment, McFarland was in possession of multiple images involving minors back in 2020.
A warrant for his arrest was issued in May of last year.
McFarland pled guilty to all 35 counts of child pornography and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Court records show McFarland had previous criminal convictions for burglary. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections said McFarland was currently on parole when he was indicted on the child porn charges.
He currently remains incarcerated in the Ross County Jail pending transfer to prison.
