ROSS COUNTY, Ohio— The Ross County Sheriff’s Office and troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol responded to barricaded gunman.
It happened in the 400 block of Climber Lane in Frankfort on Wednesday evening.
According to initial reports, deputies and troopers responded to a domestic violence call that soon turned into a possible barricade situation.
Law enforcement descended upon the residence after officials said a male inside the home had a gun and assaulted someone inside the house.
Tactical units were requested to the scene.
Deputies reported that the man fled the home with a gun. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, police said, including for assault and domestic.
