ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A suspect who ran from law enforcement managed to evade and get away.
The chase happened shortly after 6 o’clock in the evening along route 104 in Ross County.
Deputies, along with troopers attempted to stop a Kia Optima. Reports suggest the vehicle was stolen but the Guardian was unable to independently confirm.
The driver of the car continued to flee, traveling along route 104 and eventually onto Yellowbud Road. During the chase — at one point — the suspect drove the wrong way on the highway into oncoming traffic.
The driver bailed in the area of Yellobud in Ross County. A perimeter was set up around the area, officials said, as the search for the suspect continues.
The driver’s name was not immediately released.
