CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A massive Easter egg hunt will take place this weekend in Chillicothe.

The hunt is being hosted by Hometown Auto, located at 60 North Plaza Boulevard behind Roosters.

General manager Scott Lang said that the event is going to be huge.

“We have almost 4,000 eggs, lots of great prizes for a Chinese auction, where all the proceeds will go to the Pioneer Center,” he said.

The hunt will have first responders with their vehicles on display, as well as a chance to meet the Easter bunny,

In addition to the thousands of eggs, free gifts and more will be available.

Lang said that the first hour of the event will be “sensory” friendly, which begins at 10 a.m. The main hunt for ages 0-10 is at 11:30 a.m., while registration begins at 10:30 a.m.
