CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Medics in Chillicothe responded to the 300 block of East Water Street Thursday evening on reports of a child struck by a car.
Emergency personnel and police responded to the scene shortly after 9:15 p.m.
The child, reports say, was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center.
The circumstances surrounding the accident and the extent of any injuries were not immediately released.
Police say the situation is still under investigation.
