SCIOTO VALLEY — According to AAA, Scioto County comes in this week with an average price for regular unleaded at $ 4.75 a gallon.
Motorists across the nation continue to feel the strain as gas and diesel fuel hits new record highs.
In Ohio, the average price for regular unleaded hit $4.83 on Monday. Diesel fuel is quickly approaching nearly $6.00 a gallon. The current average price in Ohio is $5.63.
AAA says that regular unleaded gasoline this time last year was at $2.92.
