CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Early Sunday morning, officers were dispatched to a residence on Moccasin Road due to a fight that broke out between two adult brothers over spilled Kool-Aid.
According to one of the brothers and his wife, the fight began when the other sibling became intoxicated and spilled Kool-Aid. According to the presumably sober man, his brother had also been “running his mouth,” and it was a mutual fight. The man and his wife were worried that the dispute would continue when the deputies left.
The intoxicated man gave his side of the story, claiming that the fight broke out after one of his brother’s children spilled Kool-Aid, which was then blamed on him as he had been drinking. In addition to this, the inebriated individual then told the officers that while he and his brother were fighting, his brother’s wife continued to verbally provoke the two men.
Deputies advised that both parties separate from each other for the night, and if they were called back to the house, then they could issue disorderly conduct charges for all of family members.
