CHILLICOTHE, Ohio— A Chillicothe man who police say has been a person of interest in multiple shootings across the city in 2021 was arrested this week.
According to detectives, Joseph Hurley, 19, was arrested at a Gilmore Street residence on Monday for outstanding warrants out of Pickaway County.
Reports say that a search of the residence yielded ammunition and a loaded 9mm handgun.
The police with deputies from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office were involved in executing the arrest warrant. Hurley remains in custody at the Pickaway County Jail on charges of tampering with evidence, possession of drugs, failure to appear, and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
