CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Nearly 1,000 customers are without power this evening in the city of Chillicothe.
According to American Electric Power, the outage happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. affecting the area around Western Avenue toward downtown.
A restoration time of 9:30 p.m. was provided by the electric company.
The cause of the outage has yet to be determined.
The Chillicothe Police Department reminds motorists to treat all non-functioning traffic lights as a four-way stop.
