Otis L. Taylor, age 92, of Greenfield, Ohio, died Friday, February 10, 2023 at home.

He was born May 20, 1930 in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of Otis W. and Grace (Lavery) Taylor.

Otis was a member of Buckskin Community Church in South Salem, a U.S. Army veteran, and a 1949 graduate of E.L. McClain High School.

He was a farmer and after retirement he became a delivery driver for his son Tom at Ohio Valley Floral in Chillicothe.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn “Katy” (Allen) Boatman Taylor whom he married November 28, 2015; one son, Tom (Janet) Taylor of Greenfield; three daughters, Carolyn (Jim) McCoy of Washington C.H., Jennifer (Craig) Taylor of North Carolina, Betsy Boatman (John Seliga) of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, Kelly (Devin) Penwell, Lindsay (Jeff) Cloud, Garrett (Carolyn) Taylor, Jeremy (Kristen) McCoy, Brittany (Shaun) Beatty, Caroline Taylor, Noah Taylor; and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Jean Taylor on November 15, 2003; and both parents.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 17 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current officiating.  Burial will follow at the South Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday, at the funeral home.
