ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Ross County Park District invites the public to the first viewing of the Herron-Downs Fen Nature Preserve. The event requires a reservation, and only 12 tickets are available. The attendees will meet at the Kinnikinnick Fen Nature Preserve at 550 Crouse Chapel Road and will be shuttled to Herron-Downs. It is necessary to arrive no later than 3 PM, as there is no public parking at Herron-Downs, organizers said.
The hike will be about 2 miles over uneven terrain, so attendees should wear proper shoes and dress accordingly. The event will be hosted rain or shine.
