Jerry L. Wright, 71, of Chillicothe, passed 7:42 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
He was born November 28, 1951, in Waverly, to the late Virgil and Irene Rapp Wright. In 1985, he married the former Pam C. Kimberly who survives.
Also surviving are children, Jennifer (Henry) Pierce, of Chillicothe, Christopher (Briana) Wright, of Waverly, Jeremiah (Mindy) Thompson, of Waverly, Jeri Lynn (Rodney) Anderson, of Piketon, Shane (Candace) Wright, of Waverly and Tiffany Simons, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Bradley Thompson, Thomas Colvin, Jr., Gavin Wright, Kendal Wright, JoJo Wright and Alexander Wright; a sister, Lola (Fred) Charles, of Piketon; his faithful companion, his beloved dog, Bella; and special friends, Tom, Charles and Dennis DePugh.
He was predeceased by brothers, Richard, John, George, Chucky and Randy Wright.
Jerry retired from Ross Auto Body.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. until the start of the service on Wednesday.
