ROSS COUNTY, Ohio – The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a report of vandalism at a local solar farm.
According to reports, on March 6, 2023, deputies were dispatched to 18202 Westfall Road in response to a criminal mischief complaint.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies made contact with the caller who reported that someone had damaged solar panels by hitting golf balls into the solar farm. The caller stated that he did not know how many panels were damaged or the extent of the damage but promised to send the information to the sheriff’s office via email.
Information has yet to be released regarding the possible suspects or motives for the vandalism. However, they have asked anyone with details on the incident to come forward.
