CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — On March 11, thieves targeted the Save A Lot grocery store on 1700 Western Ave in Chillicothe. Local deputies were dispatched to the scene in response to a reported theft.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Save A Lot’s management, who informed them that six full tanks of propane had been stolen. The store manager discovered the theft while retrieving propane for a customer and noticed that the cage lock was missing.
The incident is currently under investigation. Anyone with any information pertaining to the theft is encouraged to contact the Ross County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
