PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Pike County Dog Pound is pleading with the public for help as they reach full capacity and are in desperate need of caring homes for the dogs they currently have. In a social media statement released recently, the pound said that they “need to find new homes and rescues for the pound dogs!”
The adoption fee for these dogs is $50, which covers a 5-in-1 vaccine, rabies vaccine, worming, and flea and tick treatment. The adoption also includes a free spay or neuter service. Anyone interested in adopting one of these dogs is encouraged to send the pound a private message to set up an appointment.
The Pike Pet Pals Facebook page has information on available dogs, and anyone looking for more information can also message them directly through Facebook messenger. With the pound at full capacity, it is crucial that members of the public to step up and provide loving homes for these animals in need.
