ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio — On March 23, 2023, a coordinated drug raid was executed by law enforcement officials at 29 Maple Street in Glouster, Ohio. The search warrant was obtained based on information that drug trafficking was being conducted from the address. Additionally, the residence had been under investigation for “unclean habitation” due to the property’s poor living conditions and trash.
At approximately 7:22 pm, officers with the Glouster Police Department, investigators with the Athens County Prosecutor’s Office, agents with the Southeast Major Crimes Task Force, the Athens County Sheriff SRT team, and deputies with the Athens County Sheriff’s Office secured the property and conducted a search for illegal drugs.
During the search, suspected Fentanyl and Methamphetamine were found and seized by law enforcement officials. As a result of the drug raid, three individuals were arrested and transported to the regional jail.
Dwayne Johnson, age 43, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking. Bonnie Kasler, age 61, was arrested and charged with permitting drug abuse. Herbert Boudinot, age 59, was arrested and held on an APA holder.
