CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Law enforcement officials busted a man who has been wanted since being indicted nearly 2 years ago.
Arrested was Ryan S. Aldrich, who had been on the run since his indictment in October 2021. The charges against Aldrich include aggravated vehicular assault, stemming from an incident that occurred on April 4, 2020.
The arrest took place on Wednesday, following an unrelated animal complaint. Police officers responded to the call and were informed by dispatch that the individual involved had an active warrant.

Officers contacted Aldrich and verified the warrant’s validity. Aldrich was then informed of the warrant for his arrest and was placed in handcuffs without resistance. Following his apprehension, he was transported to the Ross County Jail for processing.
Once in custody at the Ross County Jail, Ryan Aldrich was served with a secret indictment for aggravated vehicular assault. He was further advised of his upcoming court appearance scheduled for today. As of now, Aldrich remains in custody at the Ross County Jail.
