ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A Ross County man faces sentencing after pleading guilty to felony child endangerment.

According to court records obtained by the Guardian, Gordon Clouser was charged after it was discovered that he had abused a small child under his care. At the time of the incident, the child was just under 12 months old.

Records state that Clouser forcefully shoved the child, gripping him by the ribs, resulting in the child suffering three broken ribs.

Clouser was indicted in July of last year and now faces a potential prison sentence of up to 12 years for his current charges.

The Guardian will provide an update once Clouser’s sentencing is handed down. He is scheduled to appear in court later this afternoon.
