CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A man in Chillicothe reported being viciously attacked while walking down an east-side alley.
The incident occurred during the overnight hours on Monday.
According to the victim’s statement to officers, he was walking in an alley in the 500 block of East Main Street when he was attacked from behind. The man described the incident and stated that an unknown assailant attacked him.
The victim was unable to provide a detailed description of the suspect to the police.
Officers observed that the man had a large laceration on his upper lip and other cuts and abrasions on his face.
The police report provided by the Guardian indicates that the case is currently closed without resolution. “Due to the lack of witnesses and insufficient information to identify a possible suspect, the case is considered closed,” said the officer.
