CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A man was taken to the hospital early Saturday morning on reports he was hit by a vehicle.

The man was found laying in front of Cheap Tobacco on the corner of East Main and Bridge Streets at around 3:30 a.m. He was screaming in agony and said he had be hit by a car and that his hips and legs were hurting.

Medics transported the man to the local hospital. Police were not able to corroborate the man’s story and no vehicle was located.
