CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe SWAT team executed a no-knock warrant at a residence on North Sugar Street last week. The warrant was served as part of a ongoing investigation, but no one was found inside the residence.
According to a police report, the SWAT team arrived at the residence on July 7, at approximately 6:00 p.m., and used a Bearcat to breach the front door. The team then searched the residence but found no one inside.
The report did not specify what the investigation was targeting, but it said that the warrant was based on “probable cause.” The scene was later turned over to detectives for further investigation.
The Chillicothe Police Department has not released any further information.
